Wolf Trap is the Bomb

We did Wolf Trap on Thursday night and had an amazing time.

First of all - the music was great. We heard the NSO do Beethoven which could not of been better. After intermission, they brought on a choir that made all the difference. It was pretty unreal.

The other great things were:
1) You can bring your own food and alcohol if you sit on the lawn. Who would ever sit in real seats? They cost twice as much and you have to pay for wine.
2) You can see the stars - a pretty rare event in DC - which I really enjoy.
3) You get out easy - enough said.

We hope to head back for more shows later this season. This is the perfect "almost 30" event in DC.
