After a couple hours of car shopping on Sunday afternoon up in Rockville, we wanted to take in some football, so we stopped in to the Hooters on Rockville Pike. I'm really not sure why we ever go to this place. This was the second or third time we've stopped in, and I've never been all that impressed. I know it's cliche, but I actually do like Hooter's wings. They normally have very good flavor, but the ones they serve at this location always seem to be overly greasy.
And the waitresses are just average. My opinion is that if you are going to hire a staff of women that are supposed to have more looks than brains, than you actually should do that. Luckily we got one of the cuter servers, but she was a bit slow. Had to sit down because it appeared she couldn't bear the effort involved in standing and describing the difference between ultimate training burger and regular training burgers.
The deals just aren't as good at this bar as others in the area during Sunday football either. The best they had to offer was a 22 oz Bud Light for $3.50. No specials on the food. And things are quite overpriced at Hooters.
Next time you are debating where to go to catch the games, I'd stick to the Bethesda bars and leave Hooters to the older men looking for some company/entertainment while they cheer on their favorite team.

As a former Hooters girl who has a MASTERS DEGREE - we aren't all idiots.
I think it's part of the branding - all the airhead signs and stuff. Just an act to rid 40 year old football hearting dudes out of their hard-earned cash.
That is complete crap. yes there are slow hooters girls and yes there are gold diggers there, but not all the girls there act like that. my friend works there and is in college and doesnt deal with any of the old guys bs. you shouldnt stereotype every hooters girl because they are not all the same.
